2008 Portland Auto Show

The 2008 Portland International Auto Show was bigger and better than ever! An aftermarket accessories showcase was added and the range of exotic cars on display was expanded. The Show filled up the entire Oregon Convention Center January 24th through the 27th.

Pacific Motorsports displayed three vehicles in the aftermarket showcase, where we were joined by stereo companies, wheel and tire dealers and other car and truck modifiers. We featured the Horsepower Freaks HPF 750, which at 730 ponies (650 at the wheels) was the highest horsepower car at the show! We also brought along the Yellow Car, the unique 400 horsepower 320i with a BMW V8. Not exactly hidden in the corner was the only BMW Z8 at the show. We have yet to find anybody that doesn’t like the Z8.

It was a lot of standing and talking, but also exhilarating to be involved with a show of this caliber and magnitude. Perhaps we’ll do it again!
