OSEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association) is a lot of things, from the hot rod trade association’s convention to (perhaps) the world’s largest car show, and a few other points along the automotive continuum. For Mike and I here at Pacific Motorsports it was also a chance to catch up with long-time vendors and see what new goodies might be coming to market soon.

Held at the Las Vegas convention center, and all over its grounds, it is the second largest trade show held in that convention happy locale. Attendees came from all over the world, including places that might not be thought of as car crazy, such as the Ukraine, Abu Dhabi and Guatemala. Of course there were many, many people from such automotive bastions as Japan, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.

High points for us included seeing our first e92 M3, as well as many other modified e90/92 BMWs. Famous car people included Jack Roush, Chip Foose, Clint Bowyer, Robbie Gordon and others visible in these photos.

The miles of walking, hours of standing and general sensory overload were all worthwhile, and will enable us to continue to provide up-to-date information about the availability of appropriate specialty tuning products to our clients.
