Portland Clubs
As car people, we are cognizant of why we got into this mess to begin with. We are enthusiasts who happen to be fortunate enough to be able to work full time in an industry we love. Having said that, we continue to maintain relationships with, and sponsor activities for, various BMW (and soon MINI) oriented car clubs in the Pacific Northwest.
Supported Charities
We are proud of the charitable work and contributions undertaken by our clients and employees. To that end we do what we can to support these endeavors. Some of these include:
Clackamas Rotary
Portland Youth Golf Association
Lake Oswego Heritage House
Hillsboro School District Softball League
Lake Oswego Rotary
Willamette Valley Cancer Foundation
West Linn Little League
Cleveland High School Baseball Team

We do not exist, nor operate, in a vacuum.
Pacific Motorsports is committed to being a responsible member of the community in which we live and work. As such, we believe in giving back to our community in ways that help to make it better and stronger.

2008 Portland Historic Automobile Races

The 2008 Baxter’s Historic Automobile Races were held July 11, 12 & 13, 2008 at PIR. The 2008 event celebrated women in motorsports.  Once again it was a wonderful weekend of racing, viewing, autocrossing and socializing. The weather was, as usual, perfect, and Pacific Motorsports had numerous client and shop vehicles present, including many e30s, including those powered by M engines (s50 & s52) and forced induction (two turbos and a supercharged s52). It is one of our absolute favorite events of the year.

In our opinion the club corrals and parking areas are have almost as many worthy cars as the actual race cars and events on the track. Check out the many photos of racing, parading, viewing and socializing. See you later this year, when it will be held July 10, 11 & 12, 2009. This year’s event will feature IMSA GTP cars and have our celebrated local resident driver Parker Johnstone as Grand Marshall. For more information, visit www.portlandhistorics.com
